SMQB Interdisciplinary Research Networking Event
May 5 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Funding of up to £10K is available for clinicians or researchers interested in piloting new research ideas in collaboration with Research Fellows at the Centre for Systems Modelling and Quantitative Biomedicine from autumn 2021.
Projects should address a biological or healthcare challenge using mathematical and computational approaches.
The expertise in these methods will be provided by SMQB Research Fellows, who will have dedicated time allocated to work with you on successful project proposals of mutual interest.
Past projects have looked at ways to improve clinical decision-making in the diagnosis and management of different health conditions, while other projects have involved modelling cellular interactions and neural networks.
Therefore we encourage a wide range of project proposals originating from discovery scientists through to clinicians through to those working in healthcare technology or digital healthcare.
Join us on Wednesday 5th May 2021 at 3 – 4.30 pm for an online networking event which will provide an opportunity to meet our SMQB Fellows to explore any initial ideas you might have.
- Find out more and watch video case studies of previous projects
