Up to £1m in Government funding has been awarded to the University of Birmingham-hosted BactiVac Network to accelerate the development of bacterial vaccines as part of the global fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Birmingham paediatric cardiology study identifies key research priorities

Cardiology experts from Birmingham Health Partners have led the first national study into identifying research priorities for patients diagnosed with single-ventricle heart conditions. Researchers granted £275k of funding to develop test for aggressive prostate cancer

Scientists from BHP founding member the University of Birmingham have received a grant worth more than £275,000 from Prostate Cancer UK, to develop a new test to accurately show how aggressive someone’s prostate cancer is.
